it was nice to go on a “date” with a girl where I didn’t need to talk about programming.
she wasn’t being polite just so I would answer her technical question.
she didn’t expect me to pay for anything, but was okay with accepting my offer to buy her some food.
she asked me about my day and giggled when I responded with a dumb answer.
she enjoyed the movie and asked me to explain things she didn’t understand, and tolerated my tangents.
it’s nice to be treated like a regular person sometimes.
